RNSG 2213 - Mental Health Nursing

Principles and concepts of mental health, psychopathology, and treatment modalities related to the nursing care of patients and their families. This course lends itself to a blocked approach. Focus is on holistic human needs. Associate degree nurse role assimilation is facilitated through the development of major concepts.
Required Prerequisite(s): RNSG 1413 RNSG 1360 and RNSG 1105
Required Corequisite(s): RNSG 2263 (if it is the second attempt at passing this course, then the co-requisite may be waived)
