Dual Credit
The Dual Credit Program at Tarrant County College (TCC) offers motivated high school students a powerful opportunity to earn both high school and college credit simultaneously. Courses may be taken at the student’s high school or on a TCC campus, giving students early exposure to college-level academics in a supportive environment.
One of the key goals of TCC’s Dual Credit initiative is to help students earn at least 15 college credit hours that count toward a certificate or degree pathway.
Dual Credit students follow the course offerings stipulated by the Tarrant County College course crosswalk established in collaboration with high school partners. The course crosswalks outline the approved coursework between institutions and establish protocols for reviewing courses offered for dual enrollment.
For more information about Dual Credit, visit the Dual Enrollment office at any of the TCC campuses.
