MATH 1324 - Corequisite Mathematics Business/Social Sciences
Description
(3-3-0) The application of common algebraic functions, including polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, and rational, to problems in business, economics, and the social sciences are addressed. The applications include mathematics of finance, including simple and compound interest and annuities; systems of linear equations; matrices; linear programming; and probability, including expected value. Required Prerequisite(s): TSI MATH score of 910-949 with diagnostic score of 4-5 or MATH-1332 with a minimum grade of C or MATH-1342 with a minimum grade of C Required Co-requisite(s): MATH-0224
