ANES 1371 - Principles of Anesthesia Technology Semester Hours: 3 | Lecture Hours: 3 | Laboratory Hours: 0 This course introduces the theoretical and practical aspects of the physical sciences. The dependence of medical diagnostics and the analogous relationship to the human body to the sciences are emphasized. Topics include flow, pressure, resistance, electronic circuit analysis and Ohm’s Law. Introduction to the theory and concepts of the use and function of anesthesia supplies and equipment used for various surgical procedures to include cases in: General, regional, and conscious sedation. Required Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Anesthesia Technology Program.
