Contact Hours: 20 CEUs: 2.0 This is an intermediate course in the two-dimensional operations of computer-aided design and drawing using the AutoCAD software. This course is taught using a combination of lecture and hands-on laboratory sessions and covers such topics as creating, storing, and retrieving predefined components; placing, rotating, and scaling components; modifying; rubber banding; adding text and dimensions to drawings; multi-layering drawings, grids, orthogonal mode; data storage formats; input and output devices; resolution and physical limitations.
