ARTS 2356 - Photography I (Fine Arts Emphasis) + Semester Hours: 3 Lecture Hours: 2 Laboratory Hours: 4 Introduction to the basics of photography. Includes camera operation, techniques, knowledge of chemistry, and presentation skills. Emphasis on design, history, and contemporary trends as a means of developing an understanding of photographic aesthetics. Utilizes film and traditional darkroom laboratories. Required Prerequisite(s): Freshman studio core (prerequisite applies to art majors only).
