The mission of Tarrant County College Health Services is to promote health and wellness through education and service. Our purpose is to provide nurse-directed health and wellness education to all students and employees as an integral component of the College mission.
We embrace the diverse population of our campus community by providing culturally sensitive education in accordance with the American College Health Association (ACHA) non-discrimination policy to promote a healthy campus climate guided by values of cultural inclusion, respect, equality, and equity.
Each campus Health Services office delivers focused health and wellness programming on topics such as hypertension, stress, sleep, nutrition, weight management, as well as multiple disease prevention and health promotion topics. Health Services connects students to community health services and resources, and facilitates campus visits from community health partners including, but not limited to, bone marrow registries, blood donation drives, health screenings, and health fairs.
