Program Student Learning Outcomes

1. Graduates will demonstrate respect for the cultural values of the Deaf Community.
2. Graduates will independently initiate and execute a linguistically accurate conversation with members of the Deaf community in American Sign Language.
3. Graduates will describe issues of language, power, and control and their impact on the Deaf Community access to language.
