Program Student Learning Outcomes

1. Graduates will demonstrate entry level competency (safe and effective care) in the use of biophysical agents
2. Graduates will apply therapeutic exercises in accordance with the plan of care established by the physical therapist.
3. Graduates will adjust verbal and nonverbal communication according to each person (patient, family member or colleague) and/or clinical scenario.
4. Graduates will select appropriate data collection measures according to a patient case scenario.
5. Graduates will create a home exercise program based upon information obtained from physical therapy evaluation.
6. Graduates will implement, in response to an ethical situation, a plan of action that demonstrates sound moral reasoning congruent with core professional ethics and values.
