CDEC 2386 - Internship – Child Care Provider/Assistant Semester Hours: 3 | Lecture Hours: 0 | Laboratory Hours: 9 A work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills and concepts. A learning plan is developed by the College and the employer. Includes application of early childhood principles, methods, materials, and appropriate guidance techniques for teaching young children in a framework which utilizes active learning. Supervised direct application in a laboratory setting. This course serves as the Capstone experience for child development majors. Required Prerequisite(s): CDEC 1419 and CDEC 1413
