HPRS 2321 - Medical Law and Ethics for Health Professionals Semester Credit Hours: 3 | Lecture Hours: 3 | Laboratory Hours: 0 Principles, procedures, and regulations governing the legal and ethical relationships between physicians, patients, and health care professionals. Includes current ethical issues related to the various healthcare professions and patient confidentiality. This course offers insights into the ethical responsibilities of healthcare leaders and effective decision-making principles, while providing the necessary tools to establish a systematic approach to ethics. Three categories will be emphasized: Economics, Law, and Administration.
