NMTT 2301 - Radiochemistry and Radiopharmacy

Basic concepts of radiochemistry and radiopharmacy including the atomic structure, radioactive decay, and production of various radionuclides. Emphasis on radiopharmaceuticals and their ideal characteristics, biodistribution, and clinical applications; the various dosage forms in which they may be dispensed; quality control test; and their formation an dispensing.

Required Prerequisite(s): BIOL 2401 , BIOL 2402 , CHEM 1405 , and MATH 1314
