Business Administration: Accounting Assistant, AAS

1. Graduates will analyze and record business transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles using the appropriate accounting software.

2. Graduates will use accounting software, spreadsheets and/or databases to process, manage and analyze accounting information.

3. Graduates will complete the accounting cycle and prepare financial statements using accounting software.

4. Graduates will analyze employee and employer payroll tax issues, maintain records and prepare the related tax forms.

5. Graduates will run general ledger related reports for management.
