Ophthalmic Assistant II

1. Graduates will communicate effectively and compassionately with diverse patient populations, promoting patient- and family-centered care, including providing accurate patient education related to ophthalmic procedures and eye health.

2. Graduates will demonstrate fundamental knowledge of ophthalmic anatomy, terminology, diagnostic testing, and clinical procedures relevant to the ophthalmic assisting roles.

3. Graduates will apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assist with patient intake, office logistics, and ophthalmic patient care tasks.
