1. Graduates will be able to define incidents, and the significant costs associated with them, demonstrate proficiency in identifying various types of drawings, create accurate field sketches, and clearly describe safe work requirements for elevated tasks.

2. Graduates will be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of basic mathematics and plane figures, effectively identify and utilize various hand and power tools, and accurately recognize materials used in pipefitting.

3. Graduates will be able to effectively identify various types of pipes, accurately interpret pipe specifications, and distinguish between different types of valves.

4. Graduates will be able to demonstrate the ability to fabricate threaded types of pipes and demonstrate the ability to fabricate socket weld piping systems.

5. Graduates will be able to demonstrate the ability to calculate various offsets and demonstrate the ability to develop and lay out various pipe intersections and miters.

6. Graduates will be able to identify various lifts and drain cleaners, efficiently set up construction areas, accurately recognize different types of spring can supports, and effectively perform non-destructive testing.
