1. Graduates will prepare, examine, or analyze accounting transactions, financial statements, tax returns, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
2. Graduates will create spreadsheets to organize, calculate, and summarize quantitative data using formulas, functions, pivot tables, and other tools.
3. Graduates will be able to use appropriate technology to solve real-world accounting and business problems. Examples include the Microsoft Office suite, accounting software packages, data analytics tools, and other technologies.
4. Graduates will be able to communicate financial information to others in verbal and written form.
5. Graduates will demonstrate practical experience working with accounting information through project-based learning including both individual and team settings.
6. Graduates will demonstrate practical experience working with accounting information in a small business context through project-based learning including both individual and team settings.
7. Graduates will apply the accounting, business, communication, and technology skills learned through the program to a variety of accounting and problems demonstrating mastery.
8. Graduates will manage deliverables and deadlines within a team setting in order to achieve team goals.
