RNSG 2201 - Care of Children and Families

Study of concepts related to the provision of nursing care for children and their families, emphasizing judgment and professional values within a legal/ethical framework. This course lends itself to a blocked approach. This course is included in the Field of Study Curriculum for Nursing.Focus is on holistic human needs. Associate degree nurse role assimilation is facilitated through the development of major concepts.
Required Prerequisite(s): RNSG 1413  RNSG 1360  RNSG 1105  RNSG 1441  RNSG 1461  RNSG 2213  and RNSG 2263  
Required Corequisite(s): RNSG 2261  (if it is the second attempt at passing this course, then the co-requisite may be waived)
