NMTT 2301 - Radiochemistry and Radiopharmacy

Semester Hours: 3 Lecture Hours: 2 Laboratory Hours: 2
Basic concepts of radiochemistry and radio pharmacy including the atomic structure, radioactive decay, and production of various radionuclides. Emphasis on radiopharmaceuticals and their ideal characteristics, biodistribution, and clinical applications; the various dosage forms in which they may be dispensed; quality control test; and their formation an dispensing.
Required Prerequisite(s): BIOL 2401 , BIOL 2402 , CHEM 1405 , MATH 1314
